It is always pleasure to visit someone with such interesting concert photos as yours. Great gallery!

The 1.8 lens is great, an absolute bargin too! perfect for my gig photos, its so light feels like im holding up nothing at all.

the lens sounds pretty sweet (f 1.8 !!!), it's a lot better than mine (nasty little kit lens). The 400D's an awesome camera too but iso1600 mode is terrible, I use a tripod most of the time, or daylight so I think I'll be fine.

i use a canon 400d and 50mm f1.8 and 100mm f2 USM for all my band shots...i so need to go shopping!!!
